Daniel & Helen
This project was a joy to work on. The couple, Daniel & Helen knew the style they wanted but they were open to our input.
Daniel & Helen liked the style of 20’s 30’s vintage travel/tourist poster’s, graphic and simplistic in style with a bold colour palette. The venue was Oran Mor, a Parish church built in 1857. They wanted a fresh, modern approach using purple hues. Dan & Helen required an rsvp, invite, info sheet, bellyband and an envelope insert.
WHAT WE DID
We adopted the style they loved of the 30s and 40s vintage posters. Oran Mor church has a purple halo around its spire. We used this modern element along with a deep purple colour palette. Modern Sans Serif fonts were used throughout to create the feel of an old printed poster. The RSVP was designed in a post card format and the info sheets featured faint stylised clouds in the background to link the whole design together. Finally the whole wedding set was held together with a clean and simple bellyband. We used a white band with black text, with black text so it didn’t subtract from the bold invite.
